Overview
Family-owned since the 1960s, The Ranch property has been identified for growth and is served by infrastructure. The family that owns the property has partnered with Westpark Communities, a Roseville-based land development company whose principals have been involved in the creation of new home communities in Placer County and Roseville since 1987. The proposed community includes five neighborhoods totaling 446 homes. The overall density of the proposed community is 2.0 units per acre, with lot sizes ranging from 6,000 to more than 39,000 square feet. The neighborhoods surround a central park and extensive open space corridor that connects to the Dry Creek Regional Trail system. The Ranch project will add a new access road extending south from Vineyard Road to Creekview Ranch School, creating a second access for student drop-off and pick-up, thereby reducing traffic on Cook-Riolo Road during the school day.
