Next steps
Placer County has commenced its review of the project. County staff is reviewing the project plans, designs, and technical studies for consistency with guidelines and standards. The County is preparing an environmental impact report (EIR) to disclose the project's environmental impacts and identify mitigation measures that reduce impacts. The Draft EIR will be circulated for public review and comment, and the Planning Commission will hold a hearing to accept comments. A Final EIR will be prepared to respond to the comments received.
The EIR and project will be presented at public hearings before the West Placer Municipal Advisory Council, Planning Commission, and Board of Supervisors.
